Breague Construction has recently accomplished the renovation and extension of an existing cottage situated in a superb location. This transformative project saw the expansion of the property from an 1800 sq foot house to an impressive 4000+ sq foot home. Our commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, ensuring that the enhanced space now offers a harmonious blend of modern features and the timeless charm of the original cottage.
This family wanted to make their dream home come alive but also provide an extra living area for their parents on the same site. An amazing project from start to finish and the outcome has been 2 beautiful homes connecting the old to the new. It is amazing what can be done with the right team of architects and builders.
This house in Raheny was built in the early 1930s. A flat foot extension was added some years later, this was in total disrepair. When demolitions were complete, only the outer walls were left.
This left the client with a completely renovated, new modern home, with under floor heating on both floors, running off a newly installed pellet burner.
This was one of the first projects undertaken by Breague Construction and really set the scene for things to come. This family completely gutted a mid-terrace house and added a grand extension to include their new open plan living quarters. Complete electrical and heating upgrades and all new walls and floors inside. The modern bifold doors at the rear of the property lead into a stunning extension with stunning vaulted ceilings. This family were blown away by the change in their home as can be seen from the before and after photographs.
The added extras of a bulkhead in the kitchen ceiling and the corner window make this house. And the clients choice of a yellow front door really makes the beautiful stonework stand out.
